Moving
to San Diego in 1991 after twenty years in New York City was an
interesting change of pace. My husband John & I had lived quite
happily in The Village but with his early retirement we decided it
was time to try the other warmer coast for awhile. Since I had been
affiliated with New York Hospital, working as an Emergency Medical
Technician through Empire State Ambulance for over ten years, we
decided to use my expertise and started Life Skills Training.
Through Life Skills Training, we provide a wide variety of basic
life support and safety first aid courses primarily to the corporate
world. While in N.Y. I was also affiliated with and taught these
same courses at three community colleges and five Manhattan
hospitals. I was also responsible for running the Basic Life Support
Program at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan. That experience
proved to be invaluable in starting Life Skills Training. It has
enabled us to offer & guarantee, professional, up to the minute &
effective instruction to the public. Family owned business since
1991.
